A little word about Beaujolais
"The most sensual of vineyards! " according to the Revue du Vin de France, extends over nearly 18,000 hectares and runs along a ribbon 10 to 15 kilometers wide and 50 kilometers long.
From Mâcon in the north to Lyon in the south, on the hilly slopes of the Beaujolais mountains that reach an altitude of 700 to over 1,000 meters.
