A little word about the Languedoc...It is one of the largest in surface area with more than 245,000 hectares of vines! The Languedoc has a very beautiful heritage of sweet & natural wines (such as the Banyuls and Maury appellations...). 
Located in the south of France, the Languedoc vineyard benefits from a temperate-Mediterranean climate, producing powerful and tannic wines. 

Grape varieties :

For white wines: GRENACHE BLANC, MARSANNE, ROUSSANNE, BOURBOULENC

For red wines: GRENACHE, SYRAH, MOURVEDRE, CARIGNAN, CINSAULT.

The vineyard lists the most famous appellations: Picpoul de Pinet | Faugères | Pic Saint Loup | Saint-Chinian and many others
