This Pessac Leognan is not only a good wine, it is also a part of our heritage.
The Bordeaux area counts approximately 8 000 wine-growers although only 6 castles (including the Château Carbonnieux, obviously!) are “classés” (ranked) both for their red and white wines.
Colour : Pale yellow
Nose : White peach, bees wax and confit citrus fruits, it's even enhanced by a beautifully subtile woody taste
Palate : Expressive, complex and unctuous, this is a perfect wine to age in your cellar
Serving temperature : Between 8° and 10°C
Ageing Potential : 10 years
Wine pairing : Best with seafood (and especially scallops), fish sushi and goat cheese.
