AOC Gaillac - Domaine des Terrisses - Red wine

"With a lineage of 7 generations, and for 7 others at least, living in the heart of our vineyard, how can we not be very attentive to our terroir!

Why Terrisses ? In fact this family home is based on a clay vein. Our ancestors built it in "terrisses", these blocks of raw earth. They took this clay soil and mixed it with water and a bit of straw. Then they would pack it all together and put it in a jig. We chose this name because it is the image of a terroir! That of our vineyard." 

Colour : Deep red.

Nose : Aromatic bouquet typical of the Gaillac, fruity with blond tobacco aromas.

Palate : The palate is frank, with notes of oriental spices. We also find the aromas of the nose.

Serving temperature : To be served around 16/18°C.

Ageing Potential : You can age it for 5 years.              

Wine pairing : Perfect with your white or red meats as well as the most varied cheeses.
