Colour : Intense ruby color
Nose : Pleasing nose of red fruits, liquorice, light spearmint notes
Palate : Aromas of crisp black fruits evolving into notes of truffle, scrubland ("garrigue"). It’s a rich and complete wine, with refined tannins, supported by a long finish. 30% of the wine got ged for 12 months in oak barrels.
Serving temperature : 18°C - 2 hours in carafe prior to serve
Ageing Potential : 12 to 15 years
Wine pairing : Shoulder of lamb with herbs, tournedos Rossini, capon, beef bourguignon.
