AOC Cahors - Clos La Coutale - Red Wine
Notice

Absolutely marvellous blend of Malbec and Merlot from the South West of France. This is a long lasting Cahors which deserves to be tried !

 

Nose : On the nose, you will smell spicy cherry and raspberry aromas

 

Palate : The palate is fruity with hints of red fruits. The tannins are round but powerful. You can find some hints of roasting.

 

Serving temperature : 16/18°C - 2 hours in carafe prior to serve

 

Ageing Potential : Perfect to drink now but you can also age it for 8 years                

 

Wine pairing : Ideal with duck, red meat and cheese.
