Jeanne was the mother of Alain Maurel, the founder of Maison Ventenac, and thus Stéphanie’s paternal grandmother.

"La Réserve de Jeanne" was the cuvee on which Maison Ventenac’s reputation was built, so it was natural that it should bear her name.

This incredible appellation from the Languedoc region will delight your nose and palate.

Colour : Garnet colour

Nose : Very fruity and peppery on the nose. Ripe cherries and blackcurrants... Hints of scrubland "garrigue"

Palate : In the mouth, it’s very elegant with a silky structure. Powerful but well-balanced and refreshing

Serving temperature : To be served around 16/18°C

Ageing Potential : 2 to 5 years

Wine pairing : Best with juicy red meats or lamb with Provencal herbs, "blanquette" (veal dish)...
